I first knew of Jennie when we worked at the same bank just different departments. I had never met her until she joined Airline Baptist. We became the dearest of friends. I was retired then, but she was still working. She told me when she retired, she wanted to be more involved in the church. Well, when she retired, she got involved teaching Sunday School, ESL, missions, moms day out, young at heart luncheons, etc. etc. I used to tease her asking “are you involved yet”?😂 Later then she started full time In the church finance office. She was like the “energizing bunny”. She just kept going and going - even though the last few years she had so many health problems. I sure missed her when she finally had to quit because of her health. We all will miss the wonderful smiling person she always was, but she is with Jesus and her husband now, and is finally not hurting anymore. God Bless the family she left behind - she was loved by many.

My favorite memory is rooming with your mom in Israel. I was able to get to know her better. I found out that her family was so precious to her and she loved all dearly. She was a wonderful Christian lady and I know you girls will miss her so much. Knowing she is with the Lord is a comfort. May God be with the family during this sad time in your lives. Karen Young

Mama I sure wasn’t thinking that I would be losing you this date, and I sure wasn’t ready for you to leave. But I know that you were ready to go you were so ready to go be with the Lord and all of your loved ones that have went before you. And I am glad that you are not suffering anymore or in any kind of pain. But me being selfish I just wish you were still here with me so I could talk to you again and I didn’t mind at all staying at the hospital with you for all those weeks in fact I would stay with you at the hospital and help take care of you for as long as you needed me if it meant I could still have you here with me because I already miss you so much and I just can’t believe you are not here with us anymore. And you would be glad to know that we all are getting along and pulling together just like we were doing while we were taking care of you in the hospital. Anyway I love you so very much and wish I could have told you one more time and I would jump to whatever you needed me to do if you called my name one more time. You will be in my heart and I will think of you daily the rest of my life. Until I see you again you just get everyone in line and boss everyone in heaven like you did here on earth. I love and miss you and would just love to have even one more second with you. So with all my heart I’m saying goodbye to you Mama and I love you.
