Jennifer Marie Capetillo, 44, passed away on May 31, 2026. Born March 8, 1982, in Phoenix, AZ, Jennifer was a woman whose life reflected steady dedication and a spirited sense of discovery. She resided in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Jennifer spent many years in the casino industry, building her career through consistent effort and determination. She worked at Harrah’s and Diamond Jacks, beginning as a server and, through persistence and skill, advancing to the position of Floor Supervisor before fully retiring. Her work ethic was evident not only in what she achieved, but in the pride she took in doing things well.
Above all else, Jennifer’s greatest joy was her son, her precious baby boy—no matter how old—Camron. Her love for her family was constant and deeply rooted, and her presence will be remembered as both steadfast and full of life.
Jennifer’s personality was uniquely her own—feisty, adventurous, and fun, with a spark that could not be mistaken for anyone else’s. She had an eye for fashion, carried an enduring optimism for the Cowboys, and was fondly known for her weakness for chocolate milk and Southern Maid Donuts—small comforts that now hold lasting meaning for those who loved her.
Jennifer is survived by her husband, Rudy Capetillo; her son, Camron Staggs and daughter-in-law, Nicole; her stepdaughter, Lexi Capetillo; mother, Vickie Staggs; sisters, Tammy Abraham, Christina Corona, Bobbie Lee Davis, and Annie Davis; and brother, Bobby Ray Williams.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Staggs, and sister, Angelique Williams.
Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at 10:00 am.
