Jerald W. Raines

Jerald was born on September 10, 1962 and passed away on May 28, 2019. He was a member of the Freemasons and the Shriners (El Karubah). He was an active grandparent (Papa) and an avid fan of the Saints and LSU.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Eugene Raines (Pops).

Jerald was survived by his wife, Mary Raines; three children; sons, Joshua Raines and wife Samantha, Zachary Raines and wife Kate; daughter, Sarah Smith and husband Brad; two-step children, Jason Skillern and Allie Skillern; and six grandchildren, Josie, Diem, Colson, Adley, SJ and Baylen. Jerald was the fourth of seven boys who will miss him, Gene Raines, Dale Tyler, Ray Raines, Danny Raines, Larry Raines and Lawrence Raines; half-brother, David and half-sister, Angie and step-sisters, Marion, Kaye, Darlene, Paula; step-brother, Marty and mother, Earlene Cormier and husband Martin.
