Joan "Jodie" Henderson

Bossier City, LA – Visitation for Joan “Jodie” Henderson, 83, will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Graveside services will be following with Father Pike officiating.

Jodie was born to Harold and Mary Walker on June 26, 1931. On March 15, 2015 she went to be with her heavenly Father. She graduated from St. Vincent Academy in Shreveport. However, she was a life-long resident of Bossier City and she retired from the Bossier Parish Police Jury.

Jodie was preceded in death by her sons, Mark and Randy Henderson. She is survived by her son, Scotty Henderson and wife Sherry ; daughter, Joni LeMay and husband Rodney; Linda Henderson, wife of deceased son, Randy Henderson; sister, Martha Brubaker; six grandchildren: Kim Kitchens, Melanie Rennels, Shonda Henderson, Wendy Raymond ,Tad Henderson, Tracie Buegeler and fifteen great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Tad Henderson, Ben Raymond, Jansen Kitchens, Larry Scott, Lance Buegeler and Ted LeMay.
