

He retired from the Air Force on February 1, 1975 as an E-6 Technical Sergeant. Jack was a devoted Catholic. He was very faithful to his church until his health let him down. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion. Jack, also known as “PaPa Jack” enjoyed being around family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruth Fesmire; brother, Charles (Fez) Fesmire; his two wives, Elsie and Laverne Fesmire; daughters, Linda Turner and Debbie Pooler; and great grandson, Stanton Haynes.
Jack is survived by grandsons, Nathan Rowland and wife Amanda, Tim Newell and wife Sandy, Hank Haynes and wife Dana and Jeff Haynes and wife Tina; granddaughters, Kimberly Scott and husband Jason, Doris Pinder and husband Steve and Brandi McCuthchen; great grandchildren, Heather Smalley, Hayden Haynes, Colton Haynes, Hollan Haynes, Hadley Haynes, Madeline Scott an Emerson, Beckham, McClendon and Carpenter Thoma-Rowland; also several great-great grandchildren and multiple friends and family who he cherished very much.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be fellow members of the Knights of Columbus.
Family would like to thank Passages Hospice staff and his caregiver, Connie Beal for all their kindness in taking care of Jack.
