Wesley was a kind man at heart. He would try to help the people he cared about.
He met his wife, Carrie, in 1963 and they were married on June 9, 1964. They had four children together, Tammie Jane, Pamela Irene, John Wesley (Bubby) Jr., and Christopher Joseph.
Wesley worked as a logger in Winnfield when he was younger. After moving here to the Bossier City area he started working construction and did that for the next 40 years. He retired as a Construction Supervisor for Blount Brother construction.
Wesley sure liked to fish and hunt. When he wasn't fishing or hunting he was talking about fishing and hunting. He could talk for hours. He added vegetable gardening after retirement.
Wesley suffered some bad luck with his health in the past few years. He will always be missed by his family and friends.
Wesley is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carrie; daughter, Tammie Marshall; son, Christopher Thomisee; youngest brother, Darrell Glen Thomisee; two sisters, Diane Elizabeth Levy and Glenda Faye Wilkes; his 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Harrison and Anna Belle Thomisee; daughter, Pamela Irene Naquin; son, John Wesley (Bubby) Jr.; son-in-law, David Oscar Marshall; sister, Barbara Jean Bell; and his brother, Jerry Joseph Thomisee.
Serving as pallbearers are Zachary Marshall, Joshua Thomisee; Anthony Thomisee, Michael Thomisee, Christopher Thomisee, Randy Naquin and serving as honorary pallbearer is Jimmy Horn.
