To Joe's family: I am a stranger to all of you, but Shannon and Harley. I am their friend in West Monroe. I wanted to express my sincere condolences to you all as you grieve the loss of your precious love. No words are adequate when we are asked to continue our life with such a huge void. Shannon knows I've known the pain of a great loss, my only son, her friend. Gods mercy and grace are what carried me through the fog and pain and still does and he will do the same for you. I pray he sends you all the strength and comfort as only he can. God Bless

I am one of the ladies that sat with you on the side of the highway during this sad happening. I hope that you are staying strong in your faith knowing that God will see you through this
