It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juana Maria Contreras, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, wife, aunt, and friend. She left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and joy that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her.
Juana had a special gift for making everyone feel at home. Her kitchen was always filled with delicious aromas and open arms—no one ever left her home hungry or without a smile. Cooking was her love language, and she shared it generously with family, friends, and anyone who needed comfort.
She loved to dance, laugh, and celebrate life. Her radiant smile and warm hugs were her signature—simple gestures that made a world of difference to those blessed to know her. Her joyful spirit and positive attitude were contagious, brightening every room she entered.
Always the first to lend a helping hand, Juana gave of herself freely and without hesitation. Her compassion and selflessness touched countless lives, and her memory will continue to inspire kindness in all of us.
Juana was born on May 30, 1966 in Rio Verde, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Juan Contreras and Tomasa Galvan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Esequiel Trejo and Jose Luis Galvan.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gerardo Rojas; her daughters, Perla Ruiz, Tania Viveros (Leo Viveros), and Esmeralda Rojas; grandchildren, Damian Bravo, Lylah Viveros, Liam Viveros and Leilani Bravo. Siblings Filemon Trejo, Hortencia Mata, Jose Angel Contreras, Veneranda Padron, and Aracely Contreras. As well as many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, her love and laughter will forever remain in our hearts.
