Kenneth Wayne Holt Sr.

Kenneth Holt Sr., a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, was born on May 31, 1958, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He passed away peacefully at Highland Hospice Grace Home in Shreveport, surrounded by love.

Kenneth loved God and his family deeply, and he spent his life working hard to provide for them. He took great pride in his role as a provider and in ensuring his family was cared for.

For 25 years, Kenneth worked offshore as a Chief Engineer aboard a boat. He was respected for his dependability, determination, and strong work ethic, and he took great pride in his career.

Kenneth had a lifelong love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and owned many over the years. He found joy and peace riding through the countryside and on the open road.

When he wasn’t working or riding, Kenneth enjoyed tinkering with small engines and fixing things. He had a natural talent for understanding how things worked and took pride in repairing and rebuilding them. This hands-on work was a true part of who he was.

Kenneth was also a proud dog dad. His beloved Harley, whom he affectionately called his “third child,” held a very special place in his heart.

Kenneth leaves behind his daughter, Katrina Holt; his son, Kenneth Holt II; and his grandchildren, Michael Allen Jr., Layla Allen, Bella Allen, Macee Holt, and Dempsey Holt. He is also survived by his nieces, Dawn Holt, Jennifer Wilburn, Jessica Lindemann, Ashley Lindemann, and Stacey Jolly. He also leaves behind his beloved Harley, his cherished “third child.”

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Dempsey Holt; his mother, Theo Bessie Holt; and his only sibling, his sister Terrye Ann Holt Lindemann.

Kenneth’s memory will live on through his family, his work, the roads he traveled, and the many lives he touched.

Rest peacefully, Dad. You were loved, you are missed, and you will never be forgotten.
