LaRue "Red" Clark

She was born in Prichard, Alabama on February 7, 1934 to Solon and Sadie Anderson.

LaRue was preceded in the death by her husband of 61 years, Victor Oliver Clark on May 11, 2017 and brother, Lamar Anderson.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Michael Clark, Gary Phillip Clark and wife Sherri, Victor Todd Clark and wife Judi, Renee Dianne Clark and husband Carl Martin; grandchildren, Kristina Dorminy (Jay), Rowan Krystina Hernandez (Christhian), Jared Clark (Bre), Zachary Clark (Ashley), Valeri Marcantel, and Amanda Flynt (Ty); great grandchildren, Courtney Adams (Joseph), Maegan Reggie, Christhian Hernandez, Annie Hernandez, Aiden Hernandez, Delton Clark and Jaxson Flynt; great-great grandchild, Jameson Adams; and brother, Wayne Anderson.

LaRue spent a good portion of her life as the glue that held together a constantly moving Army family. After her husband retired, the family settled in Shreveport, LA. She enjoyed several jobs, family life and quiet time at home. She will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until service time.
