

BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services for Mr. Lester Philip McIntyre, 96, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015, at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Msgr. Carson LaCaze officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at the funeral home.
Lester was born October 10, 1918, in Eureka Springs, AR and passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015. He was a U.S. Navy WWII retiree, having faithfully served his country for twenty-one years. Following his military career, he was employed with and retired from the Army Ammunition Plant with 25 years as a Boiler Fireman. Lester enjoyed listening to music, tending to his garden, and working on cars from a young age. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #14.
Mr. McIntyre was preceded in death by his parents, George and Georgia McIntyre; his loving wife, Lenora McIntyre; son, Glen David McIntyre; and seven siblings. He is survived by his two daughters, Rose Mary Bazor and husband, John and Linda Clark and Larry Landers; grandchildren, Phillip Clark, and Jonathan Bazor and wife, Cathi Jo; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Bazor and Jonathan Bazor, II.
