Lillie was the daughter of Johnnie Basco and his wife Corine Cannon Basco. John and Corine raised four children; Leo, Lillie, Johnnie Lawrence, and Earl.
Lillie graduated as one of the first students to receive her diploma with a 12th grade education (previously students graduated after the 11th grade) in Natchitoches Parish. After high school she moved to Shreveport to pursue job opportunities. It was there she met Ronald Irmon Munn. Their love bloomed quickly, and they were married in November of 1956. Lillie gave birth to their only child, Ronald Irmon Munn Jr., nine months later on August 26, 1957.
Ron and Lillie attended college at Ouachita Baptist University where she completed 3 years of studies in the field of accounting. She took the state exam to receive her CPA license and later worked as an accountant and book keeper for AL&W Moore for more than 30 years.
Lillie was dedicated to her faith in Jesus Christ. She was known for her prayers of faith and for putting others first. She was a successful career woman, but always made time for her family, including her four grandchildren, Elisabeth, Olivia, Zachary, and Jackson as well as her nieces and nephews. She showed the love of Christ to all and served in the local church.
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two brothers, Leo and Earl Basco. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ronald Munn, Jr. and his wife Rajeana; granddaughters, Elisabeth Estes and her husband Jonathan, and Olivia Munn; grandsons, Zachary and Jackson Munn; and her only surviving brother, Johnnie Basco and his wife Loretta June. She also leaves behind several extended family members and friends.
