Lillie Smith Reliford

A Celebration of Life will be held for Lillie S. Reliford at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Pastor Fredrick Branch officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lillie was a member of Smith Chapel CME in Haughton. She enjoyed gardening and photography.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry B. Reliford; brothers, RT Smith, Jr., Alex Roy Smith, Sherman Smith, Roy Lee Smith and Lee Arthur Smith; and sisters, Pauline Lars, Emma Strogen and Dezzaree Smith.

Ms. Reliford is survived by her children, Ronald Reliford, Michael Reliford and Gail Smith; nine grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Irma Ruffin (Johnny), Velma Walls, Lou Ella Barrett, Ida Pearl Smith and Betty Armwood as well as a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Joshua Jefferson, Gary Morrison, T’Aeron Ruffin, Jay-Don Morrison and Kedavious Nelson. Honorary pallbearers are Ronald Reliford, Michael Reliford, Ralph Strogen, Tony Ruffin and Patrick Lars.

The family would like to thank Willis Knighton North’s 3rd floor staff, Carpenter House Hospice, Dr. Ted Warren and Dr. Jackson for the compassion and care they have shown.
