On Friday December 12, 2025 our heavenly father called his beloved daughter, home.
Linda was born on November 7, 1954 to the late Jurua Bryant, Sr. and Gracie Ealy Bryant.
As a child, Linda accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She attended Haughton High School, where she was a member of the cheerleader squad and homecoming court.
She received her high school diploma in 1972 and later attended college at Louisiana Tech in Ruston, Louisiana, for 2 years.
She became one in marriage with the late George F. Francis from Haughton Louisiana.
To this union three (3} children were born; Steven Francis, Casie Francis and Whitney Francis. She was employed with Rubenstein, Dillard's, Horseshoe Casino and retired from Bossier Parish School Board (Special need Bus Aide)
Those preceding her in death are her father; Jurua Bryant, Sr., her sisters; Carolyn Faye Anderson and Rita Louise Batts, her brother; Jurua Bryant, Jr., grandson; Steven Christopher Francis, Jr., daughter-in-law; Sonya Hartman Francis, niece; Nakisha Bryant, nephew; Jurua Bryant III, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Left to cherish her memories are: mother; Gracie Lee Ealy Bryant of Haughton, LA, her three (3) children; Steven Francis of Haughton, LA, Casie Francis (Reginald) of Haughton, LA, and Whitney Francis of Haughton, LA, one (1) sister; Erica V. Bryant Delaney (Willie) of Haughton, LA, seven (7) grandchildren; Meia (Dan), Aaliyah, Reginald K., Calin, Karleigh, Jalob and Jordan, and eight (8) great-grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Also, two (2) god-children; T.J. Sweeney and JaCorious Jeter.
