Linda McBee

She was born on February 10, 1958, in Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, and was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel T. Lee Jr., who was born in Grand Bayou, and Sally Walker Lee, who was also born in Pleasant Hill.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Reginald McBee; her children, Melissa McBee, Robert McBee, and Matthew McBee; her cherished grandchildren, Grant McBee, Archie McBee, and Walker McBee; her sister, Laura Tidwell; her brother, Samuel T. Lee III; her niece, Courtney Tidwell; her nephew, Richard Tidwell; and her mother-in-law, Barbara McBee Warner.

Linda touched many lives with her warmth, resilience, and deep love for her family. She loved Jesus, laughter, and embracing life fully. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Haughton, Louisiana, officiated by David Divelviss, with a viewing beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at the same location.

Following the interment, family and friends are invited to gather for reception and fellowship at the cemetery’s reception area.

Pallbearers will be: Robert McBee, Mike McBee, Russ Beeman, Ryan Huddleston, Mike Hollander, and Blake Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are: Matthew McBee, Grant McBee, Archie McBee, Walker McBee, and Mac Anderson.
