She was preceded in death by her husband, David King; her parents, Hoyt and Vera Lewing; her son, Brandy Simpson; her siblings, Ruel Lewing, Jean Burlison, and Milton Lewing; and her granddaughter, Samantha.
Lorenda is survived by her son, Shane Simpson; her stepson, Mike King; her stepdaughters, Misty Flowers and her husband Jason, and Angela Gale and her husband Vic. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Wade, Noah, Shelby, Gunnar, Sara, and Sydnee, as well as her great-grandchildren, Tatum, Phoenix, and Roman. Lorenda took great joy in her family and loved spending time visiting with them and friends on the front porch.
The family extends special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Sonnier and Bessie for their support and kindness.
