Lucy C. Bennett

Lucy Caroline Fallin Bennett passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on July 1, 2017. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Don Francis. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Lucy was born on November 23, 1929, in Gilbert, LA to Wiley H. and Mattie Robinson Goodman. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Elemease Goodman; son, Jackie Lynn Hudson; husbands, Tom Fallin and Hodge Bennett. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Beth Hudson Shepherd and husband John; daughter-in-law, Teresa McLeod Hudson; grandson, Christopher Hudson; granddaughters, Mindy Brown and husband Michael, Shauna Marston and husband Michael, and Erin Jenkins and husband Jason; special sister-in-law, Christine Hobbs; and great-grandchildren, Alison Brown, John-Hudson Brown, Maddox, Mason, and Riley Marston, Jason, Jake, and Jackson Jenkins, Reiley and Cole Hudson.

Pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Michael Marston, Jason Jenkins, Michael Gilmore, Bob Harper, and Ersel Holder. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandsons
