

Lydianne’s life was a remarkable example of perseverance and achievement. As the devoted wife of an Air Force officer, she faithfully supported her family through military life. By age 24, she had welcomed three sons, all four and under, including one born during the family's assignment in Morocco, Africa.
At the age of 40, she returned to college to pursue a degree in accounting. Through hard work and determination, she completed a four-year Bachelor of Science in Accounting program in only two years, graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA. She went on to become a Certified Public Accountant, building a distinguished career in municipal government.
She began her career in public finance as an auditor for the City of Shreveport, where her expertise and professionalism earned the respect of colleagues and community leaders alike. She later served as City Manager for the City of Minden, where she was known for her dedication to serving the citizens of her community.
Lydianne is survived by sons, Kenneth Randall Scallorn and Steven Anthony Scallorn (Debby Scallorn); six grandchildren, Renee Scallorn Oates (John), Nicholas Scallorn (Aubrey), Jason Benson, Brandi JoAnn Scallorn Green (Kevin Green), Jacob Lee Scallorn (Kahley Schiller), Justin Scallorn; 12 great grandchildren, sisters, Marcia Vulliamy Dotton, Sydney Samosa (Carlos Samosa), and brother, Ralph Feldes (Debbie Sockrider).
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ben Gerald Scallorn, Orville Hammons, Fred Hapgood; son, Douglas Lee Scallorn, and her parents.
Visitation will be held at First Methodist Church of Minden, 903 Broadway St. Minden, Louisiana 71055, on July 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A Service will follow at the same location on July 25, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am.
