

Funeral services for Margaret will be held Friday, May 9, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Blanchard, LA., where she was a member. Dr. Doug Allen will be officiating the service assisted by Rev. David Gray. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, Haughton, LA, Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 5p.m. to 7p.m. Burial will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park, Haughton, LA.
Margaret was a senior partner in the family businesses of Balmoral Corp., Robert Gray Proprietorship and Leadbetter-Gray Coal and Timber Co. Margaret’s greatest joy was being a homemaker and taking care of her husband and two sons. Margaret was the most loving, kind, gentle and forgiving lady that you could ever meet. She was loved by everyone.
Margaret was born Dec. 4, 1928, in Shreveport, LA to parents, Joseph Thomas and Marie Dault Griffith. Also preceding her in death were her three brothers, Clinton L. Griffith, Edward Griffith and Joseph T. Griffith, Jr.; and one sister, Marie Griffith Roach. Left to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Robert Gray of Longwood, LA; two sons, Robert Gray, II and wife Mary Ann, and Ronald Gray, all of Longwood, LA; two grandsons, Daniel Gray of Longwood, LA and David Gray and wife Ashley of Haynesville, LA.
Pallbearers will be Jim Peck, Steve McDonald, George Reed, Terrel Whetstone, Robert Fuller, Ron Killingsworth, Dave Maness and Mike Lelana.
Margaret’s husband, Robert, would like to express his deepest gratitude and love to his two sons, Robert and Ron, and his daughter-in-law, Mary Ann, for their unselfish love and devotion for helping to sit with Margaret during her stay in the hospital. She was never left alone.
