Margaret P. Jolley

SHREVEPORT LA – Funeral services celebrating the life of Margaret P. Jolley, 73, will be held at 2:00p.m. Sunday October 20, 2013 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Margaret was born in Prichard, Alabama on October 24, 1939 and went to be the Lord on October 16, 2013 at Grace Home in Shreveport. She was employed with Bellsouth and retired after 36 years. She enjoyed traveling and being with her family most. She had a joy for life and tried to live it to the fullest, loved meeting new people, trying new things and had a big heart that numerous people were truly blessed to see through out her life.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Thelma G. Parker; one brother, Carey P. Parker and one grandson, Joseph Ward. She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Jolley; her son, Kenneth Jolley; brother, Isaac L. Parker and wife Glinda; brother, Rickie A. Parker and wife Judy; grandsons, Nathan Ward and Kenneth Jolley Jr.; one granddaughter, Summer Jolley; niece Shannon Allison and husband Tracy, Christy Parker; nephew, Robert Parker and numerous cousins and friends.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Alan Borne, Dr. Himanshu Desai, Dr. Paul R. Stafford and nurse, Sherri Free, The Staff of Highland Hospital, The Glenn and the Grace Home.
