Marie Annette Copp

Funeral Services for Marie A. Copp will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gevan Spinney, pastor, Haughton First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Friday at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Marie was born March 8, 1958 in Shreveport, LA to parents Norma (Ferrill) and Lloyd Eugene Dunning and passed away at home in Haughton, Wednesday February 2, 2011. She was a school teacher for several years in Caddo Parish and for many in the Arkansas School System. Marie was a member of Haughton First Baptist Church.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Copp and her mother Norma F. Dunning. She is survived by her father, Lloyd “Gene” Dunning, Sr. of Haughton, sons, Steven Robert Copp and wife Amy of Haughton, Byron Enrique Ramos of West Virginia, daughters, Jennifer Copp Garrett and husband Chris of Shreveport, Amanda Lookenott-Toon and husband James of Haughton, Nakia Oxley of Nashville, AR, brother, Lloyd E. Dunning, Jr. and wife Angie of Shreveport, and grandchildren, Tessa, Destiny, and Brian Culver, Jonathan and Cayla Garrett, Shaun Toon, Jr., Maggie Oxley, and Luke Oxley.

Pall Bearers will be Mike Ritter, Mike Staton, James Jones, Cody Robbins, Frank Kried, and Royce Green.
