Shreveport, LA – Services celebrating the life of Mary Patricia “Pat” King will be on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Central Assembly God, 700 Hwy 80 in Haughton. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Pat was born on April 2, 1944 in Doyline, LA to Robert E. Lee Deese and Myrtle Campbell Deese. She passed away on August 17, 2019.
She was a longtime member of Central Assembly of God where she served as long as she was able. She worked for KCS Railroad for many years until her retirement. Pat was also involved in many civic organizations, The Rough Riders and Red Hats, only to name a couple. She loved playing po-ke-no and other card games with her friends. She enjoyed traveling and would help anyone in need. Her favorite thing to do every year, for over 30 years, was hunting at CW Hunting Club.
Pat is survived by her daughters, Sharon and Karen; grandchildren, Jennifer, Josh, and Kimberly; great grandchildren, Dylan, Tyler, Halie, Kaylee and Jacob.
