

Mary Riechman Snow, age 93, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Mary was born on September 26, 1931, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Zera Dan Hicks and Fern Maureen Tinney Hicks.
Mary is survived by her son, David Leroy Riechman and wife Sherry of Cullen, Louisiana; daughters, Julia R Swift and husband, Cliff of Bossier City, Louisiana and Loretta L Riechman of Bossier City, Louisiana along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dan Robert Riechman and husband William "Bill" Snow.
She grew up in Van Buren, Arkansas where she attended high school at St. Anne's Academy, graduating in 1949 and attended 2 years of college at Arkansas Tech. She raised her four children with her first husband, Dr NL Riechman, in Bossier City. She was an active member of many civic organizations. She married her second husband, Bill Snow, in 2006 and they enjoyed a beautiful and loving marriage.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bossier City, and a charter member of Airline Baptist Church where she was a faithful member of the choir and was well-known for her beautiful voice. Her faith sustained her through many difficult times, including the loss of her son.
Mary had several jobs throughout the years and began a successful career as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker in what most would have considered her “golden years”. She was known for her forthright style of communicating. She always left an impression!
She will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren, and many others who loved her.
Services will be held on January 20, 2025, at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel in Haughton, LA. Visitation will be at 12:00 (finger foods provided) with the memorial service at 1:00. Reverend Harrell Shelton, associate pastor at Airline Baptist Church, and long-time friend, will be officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the music ministry at Airline Baptist Church in Bossier City, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
Special thanks to the entire staff at Brookdale Assisted Living in Bossier City for surrounding her with warmth and loving care for her 3 ½ years there. And also thank you to the Healing Hands Hospice nurses and caregivers. All of you made this difficult time so much more comfortable for the family because we knew she was always in good hands.
