Michael David Harris

Celebration of life service for Michael will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from noon until time of service.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, camping and working on his property. Michael’s memory will live on, because he was an organ donor and was able to save other lives. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Walie E. Harris and Maudie D. Harris and James Tolbert and Dovie Tolbert.

Michael is survived by his spouse, Sherrie Wiltcher Harris; parents, Robbie (Tolbert) and David Edward Harris; in-laws, Ellen and Kenny Rogers, and Bobby and Annette Wiltcher; sons, Steven and Jeff Wood; daughter, Misty Wood; sisters, Pam Harris, Cindy Williams and husband Nick, and Cristy Bowman and husband Ron. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Bradley, Christian, Alex, Becca, Jaden, Matti and Hannah and numerous relatives.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Thompson, Tony Shaw, Steven and Jeff Wood, B.J. Rankin, Nick, Todd and Eric Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Rogers.
