Services will be held to celebrate the life of Michael Scott O’Glee at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Pastor Todd Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until service time.
Scott was born on February 19, 1971 in Bossier City, LA and passed away on September 13, 2021 in Haughton. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a proud member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters local 141 and worked for Hamm Mechanical where he made lasting friends. Scott did everything in his life hard. He worked hard, played hard, fought hard, and loved hard. The only thing he feared in life was heights. Scott was the most proud of his two daughters, Emily and Kaylin. Recently he gained the role of “Papaw” to Beckett and Mailey who lit up his world and brought him immense joy. If you've recently had a conversation with him, he most likely was talking about his grandchildren. He looked forward to buying them matching fishing poles, sharing his joy of the outdoors, and teaching them life lessons.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael L. O’Glee; grandparents, Roger and Marteil Barnebey and Shannon and Bonnie O’Glee and his uncle, Pat O’Glee.
Scott is survived by his grandbabies, Beckett Adcock and Mailey Riendeau; daughters, Emily Riendeau (Mark) and Kaylin O’Glee (Jamie Adcock); mother, Brenda Bickham (Sonny); sister, Heather Roberson (Jeff); step-brothers, Breck Bickham and Greg Bickham (Julie); nieces, Rylie Roberson, Jessica Downs, Haley Young, Brittany Morgan and Laura Leigh Bickham and nephews, Reese Roberson and Kyle Bickham. Scott is also survived by his significant other, Misty Glaze and her children, Briar Glaze and Skylar Delahoussaye.
Pallbearers will be Steven Lewis, Timothy Vining, Randy Murphy, Woody Loe, Greg Patterson, Joey Guice, Danny Campbell and Danny Diamond. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Watson, Trey O’Neal, Avis Moore, Kipper Glaze and Briar Glaze.
