It's sad to hear of such a great man passing on. I don't have a large collection of memories with Mike but the few I do have are cherished. The first memory is making the drive down to Louisiana and attending a rodeo, the first I can for sure remember (so I was probably 3 for those who know me lol) and while at the rodeo we went back by the trailers and Mike put me up on a horse with him and took me for a ride followed up with a gift of the dirtiest sweaty old cowboy hat you could ever find. My second memory is one that lasted a long while as one day Mike happened to be passing through town on a haul and we went and met him on the side of the road just outside of Hoxie. At the time the trailer he was loaded with was Tango in bright orange and green I believe and so for years I would watch and wave at every tango truck I saw on the highway thinking one day I'd see Mike in the cab of the rig. Love and miss you all, Darlene, Mandy, Jennifer and Aunt Gwen. Your iny prayers at this time of loss.

My cousin Mike was older than me but I remember him coming to Grandma Sample's as a young child. I thought he was so cool. I loved all of my older cousins.

Gwen,Mandy, Jennifer, Darlene....I'm so sorry to hear of Mikes passing. As you well know, Mike was a good man. When Allen died, he flew to Michigan to drive Allens truck back to Arkansas for us. Not everyone would have gone to that extent to help. I'll never forget that kindness! May the Lord give you comfort in the days and weeks ahead. Love you all!
