Myrtle M Pennington

She was born October 14, 1930 in Gilbert, LA. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were her joy in life. She also loved the outdoors. Planting flowers and tending to the garden were some of her favorite past times.

She is preceded in death by parents, Leslie and Georgia McDaniel; sisters, Marie Huff, Jace McManus; brothers, W.L. McDaniel, Penn McDaniel.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy; son, Billy and wife Joy; son, David and wife Carol; brothers, Lannie McDaniel and Bang McDaniel; sisters, Irene Ives, Mae Dell Smith and Ethel Ward; grandchildren, Michael and wife BJ, Rebekah and husband Clay, DJ and wife Cayla, Nicki and husband James, and Laura; great-grandchildren, Sean, William, Malea, Kaitlyn, Colton, Liam, and Cort; and numerous of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Pennington, Clay Lewter, James Caskey, Audie Reagan, Todd Huff, and Hilton Huff.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Hill Crest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm at the Hill Crest Chapel. Graveside services to follow.
