Nathan was born in Hope, Arkansas and later moved to Las Cruses, New Mexico where he attended Las Cruses High School and made many lifelong friends. Upon joining the U.S. Army he was stationed in New Jersey where he met the love of his life and instantly began a family.
Nathan had a personality that could light up a room and make everyone he came in contact with feel special. So when he pursued sales positions in several companies it was not surprising that he ultimately rose to the position of National Vice President of Webco where he received countless recognitions and honors. Although his work was very important to him, family was number one. His greatest joy was time spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was always there for us ready to help and offer words of advice if needed. Nathan was a very strong man who faced his many challenges and difficulties with strength and grace.
We will always remember his love of golf, fantasy football, cars, television, casinos, guns and making people feel special.
Preceding Mr. Nix in death are his beloved wife Rosemarie Mariano Nix; parents, Nathan Olan Nix, Sr. and Flossie Hill Nix; sisters, Patricia Volkmer and Mary Beth Nix; and brother, Michael Nix.
