Olivia C. Bridges

Born December 21, 1921, the daughter of Robert L. and Florence Collier Strong, Olivia grew up in Delhi, Louisiana. She was vibrant, joyful and was often the life of the party: a true Southern Belle. She was a fun loving person with a real zeal for life, one who will be truly missed by the world around her. She poured out her love to everyone she knew especially during the last few weeks and days of her life when she could only say, "I love you."

Cherishing the vivid memories she leaves behind are her children, Patricia Jones of Bossier City and Bill Campbell (Lucia) of Ann Arbor; grandchildren, Jeff Jones (Jessica) of Houston, and Ben and Jim Campbell of Ann Arbor, and three great-grandchildren-- Josh, Jaxon and Jarrett. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Ann Arbor on Thursday, May 26, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Hill Crest Funeral Home and Cemetery at Haughton, Louisiana, with interment immediately following.
