He attended Plantation Park where was Mr. Plantation Park, Greenacres Middle School and was a proud graduate of Airline High School Class of '81.
In his lifetime he had a variety of occupations. He worked with the Jackson family at Cypress Inn, was a shoe buyer for Footlocker, a machinist and a medical massage therapist.
During his time as a MMT he had the opportunity to work with several chiropractors in the area, the Remington Suites and the CenturyLink Arena. This offered him and his family experiences they never expected; from flying down to a LSU football game to attending many notable concerts. His most memorable experience was his 3 months with Cirque De Soli during the development of Toruk referring to them as his kids from around the country.
Chip lived life to the fullest. He loved sports, of course LSU and the Saints even during the brown bag days. He had a passion for traveling and challenging his family to new adventures from fishing around the country, zip lining, snow skiing to attending NASCAR races and the Indy 500.
Chip will be best remembered for his cooking and his unbelievable stories that were (mostly) true!
Chip joins in Heaven his paternal and maternal grandparents; father, Buddy Bolton; step father, John Wood; and sister and brother-in-law, Mona and Steve Hensley.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Marjorie Wood; wife, Cathy Robertson; children Jeremy, Corey (Jamie), Sarah (Nick), and Haze; five granddaughters Paighton, Kayleigh, Tyler, Blake and Kenzie; sister, Linda Williams; and his large extended family and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation.

Per his request: "I died. Raise a glass and make a toast to a life well lived. In the meantime I'll "Give Heaven some Hell" until we meet again.
