She retired as a phlebotomist for the Willis-Knighton Medical Center and worked for The Children’s Clinic in Shreveport. She had recently tapped into her love of baking by working at Dunkin Donuts in South Bossier.
Pamela was a certified master gardener and loved planting flowers and cooking. She was very nurturing to her family and friends, always having a kind or encouraging word. She was very proud of her family and believed they could do no wrong. She was always positive and supportive of those around her and remained humble about her own accomplishments. Pamela had many roles in her life: daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, as well as being known affectionately as Hamster. Pamela had a very special relationship with those around her, but most importantly had a deep faith in our Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Penny Provost, sister-in-law, Anita Dominique, nephew, Bruce “Andy” Dominique, and granddaughter, Alex Kohfeldt.
She is survived by her husband, John “Bear” Lomastro; sons, Chris Estess (Jennifer) and Anthony Estess. She is also survived by her step-sons, Joe Lomastro (Rachel) and Anthony Lomastro; step-daughters, Lisa Kohfeldt, Mary Jo Barrasso (Steve), Tina Denby; brothers, Bruce Dominique, Joey Dominique and Jason Dominique (Emaly). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tyler (Lauren), Mckenna, Jackson, Aaron, Logan, Trinity, Ayden, Carsynn, Nikki, Julianna and Valentina; great-granddaughter, Mary Claire, as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Raney of the Simple Church officiating. The family will receive friends at Hill Crest at 1:00 pm until service time.
Pallbearers will be Chad Speir, Chad Smith, Michael Creel, Brandon Provost, Tyler Potts, and Joe Lomastro.
