Patricia Ann Friend Finnerty, 78, passed away on July 20, 2010 in Shreveport, LA. A celebration of life service will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home, on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a vigil service at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Patricia loved to cook and work in the garden. She was a respiratory therapist at the VA Medical Center. Patricia was a very great, loving, and caring mom.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Finnerty and parents Murray and Dorothy Friend. She is survived by her children; Timothy David Finnerty, Sharon Finnerty Flecher, Michael Finnerty, Kathleen Stoddard, and John Finnerty; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Life Care Pierremont, and the HAP House at Barksdale Air Force Base.
