BOSSIER CITY, LA – Services for Gerald “Pete” Peterson will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Reverend M.L. Faler officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends for visitation at 2:00 p.m., prior to the service.
Pete was born in Balaton, MN on Dec. 3, 1929 to Peter and Lillian Peterson. He served his country in the Air Force from 1950 to 1972.
He is survived by his wife, Edwina, of 61 years and his four children Pam (Steve) Collins, Randy Peterson, Dave (Alex) Peterson, Geri (Mark) Donohue, along with 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Irvin and Merritt.
