

Philip K Hardin, a beloved and cherished individual, passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on July 1, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas, Phil lived a hard-working and faith dedicated life, ultimately residing in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Phil graduated from Parkway High School in 1972 and furthered his education by obtaining an associate degree from Bossier Parish Community College and a bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech. His career was marked by his significant contributions to Civil Engineering at Barksdale Airforce Base, where he received numerous awards as a Civilian Employee and retired after more than 30 years of service.
Family was of utmost importance to Phil. He is survived by his son, Keith Hardin; grandson, Connor Hardin; stepson, Brett Haney, and wife Jennifer Haney; stepdaughter, Pam Lemoine; sister, Sharon Tyson; brother, Doug Hardin; granddaughters, Anayah Haney and Mikaelynn Haney; nieces, Kristi Tyson Reeves and Deanna Hardin; nephews, Justin Tyson and Daniel Hardin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vickie M. Hardin; mother, Billie Jo Hardin; and father, Guy Leon Hardin.
Phil was a very active person with a great love of the outdoors. He enjoyed canoeing, camping, running, and biking. A dedicated member of Bellaire Baptist Church, his faith was always at the center of everything he did. Phil was also a lifelong, diehard fan of the Atlanta Braves. Above all, he was a generous, caring, and dedicated father and grandfather.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on February 13, 2026, at Bellaire Baptist Church, located at 1210 Bellaire Blvd, Bossier City, Louisiana, at 10:00 am, with interment following at Hill Crest Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will include Keith Hardin, Connor Hardin, Doug Hardin, Brett Haney, and Kenny Tyson.
