Phillip Ray Lopez, also known as Kink, passed away on September 2, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on September 14, 1964, in Bossier City, Louisiana. Phillip was a vibrant individual who never missed a party and had a magnetic personality. He was known as a prince to many women and had a zest for life. In addition to his vivacious spirit, Phillip was also an artist, showcasing his talent in various forms, including landscaping and painting.
Phillip is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Lopez, and his brothers: John and wife Stephanie, Allen and wife Leda, Sister's: Patricia Mosley, Cindy and husband Max Bozeman, Terri (JoJo) Lopez-Smikle and husband Kenneth who will cherish his memory. His nieces: Ashley Watson, Nikki Phillips, Gabby Mosley, Hope Sparks, Isabelle Lopez, Martina Bozeman, Margaret Petersen, Alena Lopez, Alise Lopez. His nephews: Justin Phillips, Cade Lopez, Max Bozeman, Jr, Allen Lopez Jr, Carlo Bruner. He was preceded in death by his father, Martini Lopez, and his brother, Martin Lopez.
Phillip had an extended family, mother: Hazel McKnight, brothers: Monkey McKnight and wife Tammy, Victor McKnight and wife Lisa, Lonnie Martin, sister; Stacey Jessup, nieces: Ashley McKnight, Sabrina McKnight, Sara McKnight, and nephews: Zachary Mcknight, Jacob Vaughan, Eric Edmondson, Dustin (Dirt) Mcknight, Cam Jessup, and Cody Lambert. He had several cousins, and aunts and uncles he loved.
A ceremony to honor and celebrate Phillip's life will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in the Chapel of Hill Crest located at 601 US 80, Haughton, LA 71037. The services will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together and pay their final respects.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to a charity of choice in memory of Phillip. Your support in donating to a cause close to your heart will help honor his legacy and make a positive impact in the community.
