

Porter was born in Alanson, Michigan on July 2, 1934 to parents, Walter C. Bute and Anna Fern Cain Bute and passed away into the arms of his Savior on Sunday, October 12, 2014 surrounded by his family in Bossier City, Louisiana.
He married his high school sweetheart in 1954, Mary Dedeke Bute and almost made 61 years togeather. Porter joined the United States Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sargent after 21 years. While in the Air Force he flew on B-36s and B-52s. After retirement from the Air Force, Porter started on his second career as a computer programmer and computer analyst for Boats and B.A.S.F. Phamaceutical Company. He was a member of Immanuel Luthern Church in Bossier City. He and Mary enjoyed many years of Bowling and later they did some traveling until he became ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Christine Bute; son, Christopher Bute and two sisters. He is survived by His loving wife; three sons, Michael Bute, Alan Bute and Nathan Bute; two daughters, Deborah Bute Rowell and Kathryn Bute Howerton 18 grandchildren and16 great-grandchildren.
He is now in the arms of His Savior with no more sickness. We love you and you will leave such and empty spot in all our lives! Rest in Peace.
