

BOSSIER CITY LA - A memorial service for (Bud) Lawrence McKenzie, 71, will be Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The family will be receiving visitors from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Saturday March 22, 2014 at Hill Crest Funeral Home located in Haughton La.
Officiating will be Rev. Donnie Underwood (cousin), of First Pentecost Church in Arcadia La., Special Eulogy by Richey Jackson (cousin), and Music by James Livingston (cousin).
Randall (Bud) McKenzie is preceded in death by his parents George and Marion McKenzie and Son Randall (Randy) Lawrence McKenzie Jr., and Brother George (Ben) Monroe McKenzie Jr. He is survived by his wife Judy of 52 years, Brother Daniel McKenzie. Bud is survived by many Special Aunts and Uncles and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
His Special nieces Jeanyne Richard Dominick, Toni Bickham and Gina White were like his daughters he never had and Bud Claimed that he was the Uncle to half of Bossier City, but was so very proud to be.
Bud was very close to his brother-in-law Johnny Arnold and Cousin Richey Jackson and shared many Precious Memories and great times together. His Special cousins and Aunts and Uncles were very special in his Life as he treasured every Special family gatherings and Precious Moments with them. His sister-in-laws Marilyn Joy Rech and Jackie Arnold were very special to him and always there for him and Judy.
Bud was born October 22, 1942 and went back home to be with God on March 19, 2014 in at The Grace Home. Bud Retired from the Bossier City Fire Department and worked in Construction as a Builder and Remodeler. His Niece Jeanyne said her Uncle Bud was the Real Deal, she said he gave Unconditional Love to her and all his Family and was so very Special to her.
The Family gathering after the Service will be held by Bud’s Precious niece and nephew, Jeanyne and Kyle Dominick’s at their Home, 421 Audubon Drive., Bossier City, La. 71111.
