Randall Odell Hatfield, age 60, passed away on June 1, 2026. Born on December 1, 1965, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Randall was the son of Sue and Odell Hatfield. A resident of Doyline, Louisiana, he will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude for a life marked by steady dedication to others and a quiet, enduring strength.
After high school, Randall joined the Army and rose to the rank of Sergeant. Serving as an electronics specialist, he was stationed in Korea—an experience that sharpened skills he carried with him throughout his life. Those abilities, paired with a strong work ethic and a generous spirit, shaped the way he approached every responsibility: with care, reliability, and a readiness to do what was needed.
Randall’s lifelong interest in electronics and fire alarms ultimately led him to establish his own business, Affordable Alarm and Service. He built his work—and his reputation—through consistent effort and sincere consideration for the people he served. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering kindness in practical ways and showing devotion through the simple, selfless acts that make a lasting difference.
Outside of work, Randall found joy in antique cars and motorcycles. Any free time was spend in his shop working on something, where patience and purpose came naturally to him and where his hands stayed busy with the projects he loved.
Randall is survived by the love of his life, Stephanie Rodriguez; mother Thelma Hudgeons and husband Roland; sisters, Amanda Hatfield Stone and husband Kavin and Nikki Helms and husband Steven; brother, Galen Hudgeons; and numerous, nieces, nephews and loved ones left to cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel, 601 Hwy 80, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow beginning at 2:00 pm.
We would like to thank Dylan Jones, Joshua Gregory and John Hall for all their tireless efforts and helping hands.
