Randy Lee Fox Jr.

Randy Lee Fox, Jr., age 55, of Haughton, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025. He was born on June 20,1970 in Gallipolis, OH and spent his life as a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.

Randy dedicated 30 years of his career as a Lead Service Mechanic with Schindler Elevator, where his hard work, expertise, and dependable spirit earned the respect of all who worked alongside him. Known for his strong work ethic and steady demeanor, Randy took pride in every task and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his children Randy Lee Fox III (Morgan Fox) and Lacy Elizabeth Brevard (Dillon Brevard); his cherished grandchildren, Sage Brevard and Weston Fox who were the absolute light of his life!; his mother, Rita Reese Day; his siblings, Marilyn Gentry (Brad Gentry) and Michelle Luquet (Jeff Luquet); niece, Morgan Gentry, and nephews, Jake and Tyler Gentry.

Randy will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness, and love for his family and friends. Always the life of the party, his presence will be deeply missed but forever felt by those who were fortunate to know him.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. David Dies and his team, Dr. Joseph Jones, the nurses and staff of Willis Knighton North, and Mrs. Khaliah Cook from Saint Joseph hospice for their services. We would also like to thank his work family at Schindler Elevator for many years of friendship and support.
