Throughout his life, Dion worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He was passionate about LSU & Saints football, collecting coins, knives, the latest electrical gadgets, and indulged in WWE and Fox News upon his retirement from industrial maintenance. He took pride and joy in attending his boys’ sporting events throughout the years, and loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandbaby girl, Kelsie. We know that life will go on, but it will never be the same without Dion, Daddy, and Pop Pops. He fought to the very last breath and heartbeat and we are grateful that he is now completely healed in God’s presence.
Dion is survived by his parents Earl & Gerry Moffett, his resilient, dedicated, beloved wife Lisa Moffett, his four sons Shane, Aubry & wife Breanna, Brandon, and Aaron, granddaughters Kelsie and Judah, his two brothers Mr. & Mrs. Danny Moffett, and Mr. & Mrs. Tony Moffett, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We would like to send a special word of gratitude to the staff in MICU at Ochsner LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, Dr. Timothy Nichols, our work families at Omni Specialty Packaging in Shreveport & the Interventional Radiology Department at Ochsner LSU, Brother Dan Lay, Trinity Heights Baptist Church, and everyone who supported us with prayers, compassion, and love over the past several years.
