SHREVEPORT, LA – Services for Richard “Ricky” Durrett, 56, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Haughton, 105 E. Washington Ave., officiated by Bro. Gevan Spinney. Interment will follow at Simsboro City Cemetery in Simsboro, LA. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, January 16, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.
Ricky was preceded in death by his father John P. Durrett and brother Charles Andrew Durrett.
He is survived by mother Carolyn Durrett, son Dustin Durrett and wife Meghan, daughter Jessica Bowers, brothers Paul Anthony, David Randall, Joseph Michael and Martin Durrett, grandchildren Carter and Taylor Durrett, Stephanie and Amelia Bowers. Ricky is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, friends and associates.
