Robert H. Begley

Visitation will be from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home.

Robert was born on October 13, 1934 in Hyden, Kentucky, and peacefully passed away on February 2, 2021. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years retiring as a Master Sergeant in the BOMB NAV group at BAFB. He was an avid and very successful fisherman and enjoyed being out on the lake or the Red River with his friends. He also enjoyed sharing his bounty from the waters in the form of countless fish fries hosted by he and his wife Pat at their home on Lake Bistineau.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, his wife Pat Begley and his daughter Lori Begley.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tina Davis (Rusty); grandchildren, Krystal Davis, Robert Davis, and Danielle Wisian (Lance); nephew, Randy Houston (Kara); and many beloved friends. Especially friends, Mike Mladenka, Homer Humphreys, Steve Risner, Roy Kirksey, Elmore Morris, Randy Jones, and Donnie and Shirley Cole.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Risner, Mark Davis, Robert Davis, Randy Houston, John Houston, and Roy Kirksey.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or the Disabled Veteran’s Association.
