Robert A. "Bubba" Gandy, Jr.

Robert A. Gandy, Jr., 62, was born on November 7, 1954 in Torrance, CA to Robert A. and Camilla Gandy and passed away peacefully on May 20, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. He proudly served his country for 6 years in the United States Navy.

Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Gandy; wife, Mary Ann Gandy; son, Vincent Scott Faust; and sister-in-law, Pam Gandy.

Robert is survived by his mother, Camilla Gandy; brothers, Steve Gandy and wife Debra, Leon Gandy and wife Sherrie, Larry Gandy and wife Janet and Glen Gandy; sisters, Liz Baronette, Shirley Martin and husband John and Phyllis Brawley; son, Geoffrey Faust and wife Tanya; daughter, Shelley Myre and husband Jonathan; grandchildren, Jarred Faust, Katelynn Wynn and husband Jason, Allison Sonnier, Starr Faust, Carissa Eaton and husband Justin, Sky Faust, Nick Faust, Arakin Faust, Mason Faust, Ashley Bell, and Joey Webb; and great grandchildren, Kylee Sonnier, Jaxon Wynn, Khloee Wynn, and Cassidy Eaton. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services for Robert A. Gandy, Jr. will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Doug Allen of First Baptist Church of Blanchard officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Honoring Robert as a pallbearer will be his oldest grandson, Jarred Faust.

Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Gandy, Leon Gandy, Larry Gandy, and Glen Gandy.
