

Funeral services for Mr. Roland Juneau, Sr. will be conducted at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.
Roland Juneau was born and raised in Echo Louisiana and joined the Air Force and married his wife, Sylvia Marshall, in 1960. They remained married for 40 years until her unexpected death in March of 2000. They had three children Roland Jr., Cindy and Rochelle.
He spent 20 years in the military and fought in the Vietnam War retiring on December 31, 1980. After retiring from the military Roland went to Vocational Technical school to learn the trade of paint and body work. After school he started working in the paint and body field finally opening up his own paint and body shop. He worked in this industry for many years and retired again to follow his grandsons play multiple sports and enjoying time with family and friends.
He was a giving and compassionate man and was proud of his Cajun heritage. He loved sharing stories about his life growing up in south Louisiana. He remarried in July of 2014 to Elizabeth Deville and returned to his roots in south Louisiana enabling him to also spend time with his sisters and brother.
PawPaw was the name he went by after becoming a grandfather and will be greatly missed. He loved his family and friends and loved just sitting around and visiting.
Roland is preceded in death by his dad, Cliffie Juneau; mother, Felicia Juneau; wife, Sylvia Juneau; sister, Barbara LaBorde; and brother, Clifford Juneau. He is survived by his spouse, Elizabeth Juneau; children, Roland Juneau, Jr. and wife Sheila; Cindy Reed and husband Daniel, and Rochelle Irvin and husband Jerry; his siblings, Patricia Hobbs and husband Rodney, and Linda Ramos and husband Ernest; grandchildren, Ryan Juneau and wife Amanda, and Justin Juneau and wife Sonia; great-grandchildren, Jaxton Juneau, and Laykin Juneau; step-grandchildren, Crystal, Candace, Jannah and David; and step-great-grandchildren, Lucas, Mileigh, Everleigh, Jimya and Nalaya.
