Mrs. Rose D. Beck age 86, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011. She was born March 2, 1925 in Shreveport, LA to Dorothy and John Brocato, Sr.Mrs. Beck was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timothy Paul Beck; two brothers, Sam J. and Jim Brocato; three sisters, Mary Dopp, Martha Rice, and Josephine Fulco.She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl Beck; two sons, Frank Thomas Beck and wife Sharon, Terry Beck and wife Barbara; brother, John Brocato, Jr. and wife Viola “Nell”; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews; all who love her and will miss her dearly.A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Father Pike Thomas of St. Jude Catholic Church, where Mrs. Beck was a longtime member.
