She had an unwavering love of family and friends, was a free spirit and lived life to its fullest every day. She possessed a kind heart and an infectious smile. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. Lindsay will truly be missed. It was an honor to be her father.

Hello All. I am a LEAP Speaker and in 2015 I did extensive work for LEAP in order to help pass a constitutional amendment for medical marijuana in Florida where I live. Lindsay was my primary contact at LEAP throughout that time period and she was always great; supportive and helpful. We never met but I know a southern accent when I hear one, and I was super surprised to learn that she was living in Colorado... Knowing now that it was her dream to live there, it gives me comfort to know that she made her dream a reality. Much Love to family and friends, I'm sure you all will miss her.

Lindsay helped me with logistics on a LEAP trip from Seattle to NYC and DC a few years back. She did an extraordinary job. I'll never forget her generous spirit, her can-do attitude, especially when confronting the unexpected.

We'd never met in person, more's the shame, but I could tell from our many phone conversations over the course of that week that I'd connected with a genuinely good, kind, self-sacrificing person. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

I am so saddened to hear about your death. You were one of my favorites at our LEAP family. My favorite memory was how much you appreciated that I designated you a bad ass because of the amazing work and advocate you were. Our world is a much sadder place with your passing. Give my brother a hug when you see him, you two were kindred spirits in many ways. My deepest sympathies to the entire Kimmell family.

Allen, my heart breaks for you. Margaret just contacted me today with this very sad news. Wish I had some special words to make things better but please know how much I admire you. The last couple of years sure have been unfair to you. I rarely get to Shreveport, would love to see and visit with you the next time I am there. You are a very special person - I was so touched by the video - Lindsay was a carbon copy of Sally. Please know I am here if I can help in any way.

My love to you,
Ann Rutledge
