Today, we say goodbye to a woman who was so much more than the words that could ever fit into an obituary.
She was a daughter to Doug and Jeannette Neary, sister to Dawn (Robert) and Shelley, wife of David, mother to Caleb and Chelsea (Colton), aunt to April, Zach, Jarred, Jason, Connor, Cameron, Garrett, Lauren, Tyler, and Rika, Sugar to Grayson, Kilee, Adilynn, Lanksten, Lawsen, Sutton, and Sawyer, and mom to all the “Bonus Kiddos” who came into our Lives, Home, and Hearts!
She was someone who loved deeply, sometimes worried deeply, and cared about the people in her life in a way that couldn’t always be put into words.
She was the youngest sibling, but somehow managed to be the biggest in more ways than one. She carried a big personality, a big heart, and a lifetime of stories. She knew the kind of sibling love that could include arguing one minute and standing beside each other the next—and she knew how precious those relationships become with time.
She loved her family. She treasured cousins coming together as adults, the laughter and memories that seemed to fill the soul, and the moments that reminded her that family is one of life’s greatest gifts.
She had a creative spirit. She loved crafting, dreamed of learning to paint, enjoyed beautiful things, photography, decorating, and finding little ways to make ordinary moments special. She didn’t have to be perfect at something to love it. She simply loved trying.
She was curious about the world and wasn’t afraid to ask questions—sometimes serious, sometimes wonderfully random, and sometimes the kind that made everyone laugh.
She faced more than her share of difficult days, but those days never completely took away her ability to find something to wonder about, someone to care about, or something to laugh about.
And perhaps that is what those who knew her best will remember most.
Not the hard days.
Not the things she couldn’t do.
But her.
She will be missed in all the little places she used to occupy—and in all the big places in the hearts of the people who loved her.
Her life was not measured by how long it lasted, but by the people she loved and the pieces of herself she left in them.
Forever loved. Forever remembered. Never forgotten.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 19th, 5-7PM.
A Small prayer will be done at the end for those that would like to stay.
Casual Attire
Come as you would come to the house for a visit.
The family asks in lieu of flowers that a donation be given to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation to support their research.
