Sharon retired from KCS Railroad after a long and dedicated career as a clerk. Outside of work, she found great joy in the simple things she loved most—her dogs, caring for her plants, and taking peaceful walks at Mike Woods Park. These passions brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.
She is survived by her son, Mathew Fletcher.
Sharon was preceded in death by John J. and Patricia A. Finnerty, Timothy Finnerty, and Kathleen Stoddard, and John Finnerty.
Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home & Park, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, Louisiana 71037, on August 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Chapel Service will follow at the same location on August 13, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm.
