She moved to the United States at the end of WWII with her husband, Matthew J. Barcelona, Sr., where she started a family and raised her eight children. Sheila spent many years of service in the church at BAFB and enjoyed helping others in the community. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, brothers and sisters, and four children.
Sheila is survived by her remaining children, Matthew J. Barcelona, Jr., Vicki Wright and her husband, Doug, Mark Barcelona and his wife, Debbie, and Terri Creamer and her husband, Dennis. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services to celebrate Sheila’s life will take place at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, officiated by Deacon Ricardo Rivera of Christ the King Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Sheila will be entombed within Hill Crest Memorial Mausoleum.
