Solomon Oswald Zane Haupt, infant son of Patrick W. and April J. T. Haupt, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, March 25, 2018, due to complications of a vascular abnormality from birth. Solomon laughed and smiled throughout his 5 months; bringing joy and happiness to everyone he touched. He loved worship music and his favorite hymn was “It Is Well with My Soul”.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Maximillian, Wilhelm and Sven; paternal grandparents, Leo “Pappy” and Carole “Oma” Haupt Jr.; and maternal grandparents, Gary “Pop-pop” and Sharon “Nanna” Tegtmeier; paternal great-grandmother, Pearl E. Haupt; maternal great-grandparents, James and Delores La Valley; as well as many other relatives and friends who loved “Sol” very much.
Visitation services will be held Friday, April 6, 2018, 5-8 p.m., at Open Door Bible Church, 950 Swan Lake Spur, Bossier City, LA. A memorial/celebration service will be held, also at Open Door Bible Church, on April 7, 2018, 11 a.m. with Pastor Gary Weaber and Pastor Mike Fidler officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, 601 US Highway 80 East Haughton, LA.
